In vivo time-resolved sub-pixel measurements of wall deformation in the common carotid artery

The purpose of the approach is to derive the local elastic properties of the carotid artery. Repeatable results obtained on two volunteers point out the promising potential of this approach for investigating the mechanics of arterial tissues in vivo.
